Using your Assignment Notebook Effectively

The Basics
1. Take time to set up your assignment notebook each week.
2. Begin each week by filling out the date, "WEEK of__________________."
3. Fill in each of the subject names ahead of time. (ELA, Math, Social Studies, Science, Spanish, etc.)
4. Record your assignments each day. If possible, write them at the beginning of the class period.
5. Ask your teacher or another adult to check your assignments at the end of the day before you leave.
